Q. Does reflexology tickle?
A. No, the pressure used is such that it doesn't tickle.
Q. Is reflexology safe for elderly people or children?
A. Yes, I use lighter pressure, and if necessary give shorter treatments, but these are still extremely beneficial.
Q. How many treatments will I require?
A. This depends on your reason for using these therapies. If you are using them for relaxation only, then treatments can be as often as you wish. If you are having treatments for a current health problem, then I recommend an initial course of 4 - 8 treatments. After these, we will reasess together how you feel you have responded to these treatments, before planning further treatments or a maintenance plan if required.
Q. Are you a qualified practitioner?
A. Yes. As well as a BSc (Hons) in midwifery, I hold a diploma in reflexology and have completed additional training in aroma reflexology and facial massage. I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists.
